About the Project

ECDC partnered with the Iowa Lake Community College Construction Technology program to construct this 3 bedroom, 2 bedroom home in the Rockport neighborhood during the 2024-2025 school year.

Located near the shores of Five Island Lake in Emmetsburg, this home features an open floor plan, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (including a nice master suite with a walk-in-closet), a dedicated mud/laundry room, an attached two-car garage, sliding patio doors leading to the back yard with direct access to the Five Island Trail system, and a view of Five Island Lake to the east. The home also has a spacious unfinished basement that could be used as storage space or finished off for additional living space and/or bedrooms.
